A full assessment will be carried out of your dog. This includes gait assessment, stance analysis, palpation of muscles and joints and assessing range of movement and environmental assessment. Then a full treatment will be given depending on the findings of the assessment . A report will be sent to the referring vet.
Treatment and exercise prescription will be given.
This diagnostic tool allows us to detect lameness in even the mildest form by reporting abnormalities in weight bearing before they can be seen by the human eye alone (If coming to me for physiotherapy assessment then the cost is included in the first treatment).
Payment is required at time of treatment (I have a card machine). Please check with your insurance company as some will cover physiotherapy treatments. I can provide you with a receipt to enable you to claim the money back.
It is a legal requirement for a Veterinary Referral form to be filled out and signed by your vet prior to any treatment being given. Please download the form below, fill it in and ask your vet to sign it and send it back to me prior to booking an appointment.
