Here is everything you need to know and do to book an appointment with Anna's Animal Physiotherapy for your pet:
A full assessment will be carried out of your pet. This includes gait assessment, stance analysis, physical examination and environmental assessment. A full treatment will be given depending on the findings of the assessment as well as a treatment plan. A report will be sent to the referring vet and email and WhatsApp contact to support you in between appointments.
A follow up assessment will be carried out at a point dictated by the treatment plan and progress. This includes gait assessment, stance analysis and physical examination. This also includes a treatment and a review of the treatment plan. A follow up report will be sent to the referring vet.
Follow up appointments are only available for patients that have had their initial assessment. They include treatment, exercise prescription and advice following discussion and findings in that session.
This is great for canine athletes or any owner that wants to check for any brewing issues as the stance analysis can pick up the most subtle changing in weight distribution before the human eye can. No veterinary referal is needed for this but please be aware I cannot get hands on without referral form and no treatment will be included in this service.
NB: Payment is required at time of treatment. Please check with your insurance company as most will cover physiotherapy treatments.
It is a legal requirement for a Veterinary Referral form to be filled out and signed by your vet prior to any treatment being given. Please download the form below, fill it in and ask your vet to sign it and send it back to me prior to booking an appointment.
